We so often don’t celebrate our own achievements, big or small. And yet it can be the perfect antidote to immediate actions and quick wins. With your level of success, it can also give you the boost you need to keep your drive and excitement up!

Remember when you first started your business? The excitement you had. That feeling of a new beginning, a fresh focus, something to call your own, and all the possibility that awaited you?

Let’s talk about how to get that excitement back!

The Direct Sales In-Person Event that had You Motivated!

Think back to the last in-person event you attended for your company. Can you recall the energy and excitement you experienced? There’s nothing like it! You wish everyone on your team could have been there with you. You wish you could bottle up that contagious positive energy and keep it with you.

Well, you‘ve been at this a while. Maybe in time, but definitely in experience. To get where you are you’ve done the work! You’ve navigated the ups and downs, you’ve connected with countless people to help make a positive difference in their life. You’ve been through it.

How High-Achieving Women in Direct Sales Get Their Excitement Back for their Business!

How do you keep that spring in your step, the fresh excitement for yourself, about your business?

Well, you celebrate your wins, your achievements, and the impactful difference you’ve made for others. I know this can feel awkward. You’re in the business of helping people. Serving others. Celebrating everyone else’s wins!

Because most of us don’t celebrate our personal wins, big or small, this is your invitation. It’s ok! I’m here to let you know, not only is it ok, but it’s time.

Three Things To Do Now To Gain More Energy and Excitement in Your Direct Sales Business.

Implement these three things and let them boost your energy, excitement, and outlook for your business.

Then go spread your contagious positive energy with others.

  1. Wins! Ok, let’s just qualify what counts as a win. Anything! I’m talking big or small. My good friend Sarah checks in with me often asking me to share a win. Thanks Sarah! One day I simply straight up didn’t have anything.

She said, “lower the bar”. She knew I was going through a tough time. I said, well, I got out of bed today. Ha. Kind of joking but all in all, quite serious. Have you ever had those days? Or seasons of life?

She said, that counts! And you know what? It totally does. I don’t know if you can relate now or maybe there’s been a time or two in the past where it was a win for you to get out of bed and face the day.

Here are your “win” questions to ponder, answer or use as a journal prompt.

What’s one win you’ve had today?
What’s the most recent win you personally had in your business?
What business win do you want to be celebrating one year from now?

2. Testimonials! I’ll share two recent ones I’ve received from clients that I work with.

“Tammy, thank you for being my coach, for supporting me, helping me grow over the last few years, and always having the confidence in me when I sometimes don’t myself. You are amazing and so talented as a coach all while being so genuine and caring. Can’t wait to continue working together.”

Thank you, Miss Mollie!

“As per usual, your advice and guidance has sparked a change and inspiration in me and in every one of my thoughts. Thank you for making such a significant impact in my life.”

Thank you, Miss Sara!

I was so touched to receive these notes in the mail out of the blue. Certainly, I am grateful they are having a valuable experience. It almost makes me speechless.

These are so powerful! And I know they can have the same impact for you. Testimonials can come in many different forms. A thank you card. A text. A message. A gift. An act of kindness. Keep the notes and the words of gratitude from others somewhere accessible.

These are powerful reminders to you about the difference you are making. They remind you that you are appreciated for being who you are. The work you’re doing matters. These notes help you through the lows and help you stay up with the highs because you are making a positive impact on those you touch.

Life is hard. Business is tough. You are driven, successful, ambitious, and accomplished. And as women, we simply don’t acknowledge our own personal wins enough. This leads me to my last point that I want you to implement.

3. Celebrate! How will you celebrate you? Identify what feels like a gift to yourself. Then go get it or do it or experience it.

For me sometimes it’s allowing myself to slow down. To take time to simply enjoy a view, a good book (for pleasure, not for work, or book club) or to flip through a magazine. I also like to pick up fresh flowers for myself. It brings me such joy!
