Three Strategies For Your Best Year Yet In Your Direct Sales Business

Strategy number one: You need a theme to guide you. This comes in the form of one word, that will choose you, you won’t choose it. This strategy is to use a single word as a theme to guide you personally and professionally in your network marketing business for a whole year.

Dedicate Time For Dreaming And Planning Your Direct Sales Business Success

Strategy number two: Dedicate time to dreaming and planning. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. It’s critical to spend the time working on your business, not just in it.

It has to be scheduled. Even if that means telling yourself “This week when I’m alone in the car, I’m dedicating that time to daydreaming about my hopes and dreams for my team and my business. Great!

It doesn’t matter when, it matters that you dedicate time to dream crazy big dreams.

Supportive Structure And Guidance To  Plan Your Personal & Direct Sales Success

Once your dreams are identified, it’s time to schedule a planning session. This means sitting down, uninterrupted, to suss out what needs to happen in order to realize your dreams. This is much bigger than one podcast episode.

I offer one-on-one, high-touch, high-value strategy sessions to work side by side with you to dot the I’s and cross the t’s on this. Can you do it on your own? Yes. Will you? Maybe, but will you finish so it’s complete and includes all the areas both personally and professionally?

Or will you get a great start and maybe not have the time or space to see it all the way through? It’s totally normal! This is why many of my leaders come to me for a strategy session.

Another reason is that structure and guidance are helpful so you’re not going it alone. It can feel so big before you start. It’s easier to keep working and driving vs actually sitting down and doing this.

Plan For The Inevitable Bumps In The Road Along Your Direct Sales Success Journey

Strategy Number three: Prepare for bumps in the road.

It’s inevitable. There will be personal and/or business circumstances that come up that can turn your best-made plans upside down. It happens. It means you have a thriving business with momentum and a life that’s full.

Embrace it. The best you can do is plan for it.

The reason you dream big and craft a plan is so that you have a solid foundation to come back to and guide you through these times. Your plan is your GPS. Your guide to bring you back on course.

And a solid plan is also one that has some buffers built in. Where you need to build these in will be unique to you and your circumstances. For example, my husband has a job that’s well, bananas, frankly. At times, it’s so demanding he doesn’t see the kiddos when they wake up or before they go to bed.

He doesn’t have the flexibility to determine his schedule much of the time. And when he does, it can change on a whim without notice. That means I get to work in a lot of buffers to allow me to be the number one person on call for the kiddos.

Your buffers will be unique to you and your life circumstances.
